Booked suite, that included an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV set. The place had a family atmosphere. The staff were efficient, the location was convenient. It took only 15 minutes to walk to Duke of Wellington bus stop.

Its location was magnificent, so close to the long hill, pub which was great, and walking trails. Also, the distance to Lumsdale Valley was just 1 km. We had an exceptional meal in the morning and some outstanding food at the main bar.

Perfect location on a crossroad and helpful staff. Near to a massive big hill from the town centre, the outskirts of Matlock and Bakewell. Had suite with a fan, duvet and very clean bed.

The food was fine, with a good choice of options. The staff were fantastic friendly and very very helpful all the time. The location was lovely to walking trails. Plus, it was very close to the outskirts of Matlock, a massive big hill from the town centre and a taxi.

Excellent, ideal location in Matlock, so close to town centre and the Indian restaurant. Accommodating staff, bright, neat room with all the facilities, twin beds plus duvet.
Beds were a little lumpy.
